A few years ago I was diagnosed with celiac disease after months of gastrointestinal symptoms. Altough I was happy that I finally knew what was wrong with me, I was a bit scared as well... I didn't know what to expect, I had never heard of a gluten-free diet. No more bread, no more cookies, no more pasta, no more pizza... Seriously?
Now, a few years later, I must say... gluten-free living changed my life in a very good way! Not only do I feel much better physically, eating gluten-free made me realize how important a healthy diet based on nutritious whole foods and superfoods is.
Hippocrates once said "Let food be thy medicine and let thy medicine be food". I believe living a healthy and balanced life can prevent a lot of health problems. That's why I eat gluten-free organic whole foods and I try to eat raw & vegan as much as I can. And I must say... I have never felt better!
